Diazonium chemistry

From Varichem’s background in the graphic arts we have developed particular expertise in Diazo chemistry.

Diazo compounds provide and a route to otherwise difficult to synthesise molecules. The range of functional group transformations can be exploited to place substituents on an aromatic ring in positions that would not be achieved in straight forward electrophilic substitutions making the diazonium compound a versatile stepping stone.
